As part of our learning in Te Reo Kori, we learnt and presented a rakau performance with our Buddy Class in assembly. The kids loved it!

Today we visited Taumata O Te Ra, our local marae. The students had done a lot of pre-learning about what to expect during the powhiri, important protocols and how to behave at the marae. It is important for our students to gain an understanding of Maori culture, and our visit to the marae certainly helped to achieve this.
